Hi, this looks great and all, but the solution provided contradicts with the information provided in the FAQ about directly connecting an antenna to MaxSeaTZ

    http://www.maxsea.com/support/faq/can_i_directly_connect_a_furuno_digital_radar

    which is true?

    • MaxSea says:

      Dear Soffi,
Thank you for your comment. Both are true in fact, the PC Radar solution is only available in France and Germany at this moment and requires technical intervention. For other markets, the FAQ is 100% correct.
      Best regards,
      MaxSea Team

Hi Maxsea Team, I have a new boat under build in France currently and will finalize all electronics choices soon — what is the additional cost (if any) of this ‘technical intervention’ please? Thanks,
        Matt

      • MaxSea says:

        Dear Matt,
Sorry for the late answer, we were in Paris for 10 days attending the Nautic Boat Show. What kind of “technical intervention” are we talking about? Where is your boat located?
        Thank you!
        Best regards,
        –MaxSea Team

Hi, no worries and sorry for the delay in turn, I was referring to your own comment above, ‘ the PC Radar solution is only available in France and Germany at this moment and requires technical intervention ‘. The boat is under build on the North coast of Bretagne. Merry xmas!
